Real-Time Marketing – Responding Now

Twenty first century technology which has provided the platform for real-time marketing, has not only impacted our customers’ behaviour but has also enabled marketers, using tools like social media,  to communicate and build relationships with their customers in powerful new ways .

David  points out that social media  also enables businesses to read their customers’ buying signals as they interact with their brands.

For businesses to implement a real-time marketing approach, they need to firstly research which platforms their customers are using online, then monitor and  engage them there.

So there is nothing tangibly new here in what David saying, However, where this begins to have relevance is how he applies this same concept to the Seven Real-Time tips which definitely show any organisation or individual can begin to add value using these tips.

    Hi Bernie

Thanks for visiting and your comment. Yes, David likens today’s real-time focus to the Wall Street bond trading world he experienced in the 1980′s, where decisions were made in split-seconds.

The tips mentioned in this post are only some of the take-outs from his masterclass. These ones I believe are key to apply in any professional marketing approach today. David’s book and presentation contains many more examples and insightful gems for practical application.

Look forward to discussing the book with you when you read it.

    Best wishes!
