As we head into a New Year it is timely to contemplate last year’s achievements and to clarify goals for the forthcoming year.
From a business perspective – it is opportune to identify what worked last year and what didn’t. We’ve blogged previously about the value of auditing (Spring Clean Your Marketing – Let’s Audit and I Love A Good Audit ) and this is a perfect time to undertake one.
Revisiting your business and/or marketing plan – checking progress against goals, confirming targets for 2010 and the strategies to make these happen - provides a clear direction and ensures all resources of the business are being applied effectively to the ‘right’ activities – the ultimate cost effective business activity. As Tim Berry mentions in the the post 15 Predictions and Trends for 2010 – in a planning context – ‘form follows function’.
It is also a great time to reflect upon your customers, staff and colleagues and how to strengthen relationships with them. Anything is possible when relationships are strong.
In 2010 Marketing Is Us will continue to provide information and services to assist you to cost effectively maximise your marketing and achieve your business objectives.
As colleague Richard Marti says: ‘Let’s make ’10 a 10′. From Us to You – Happy New Year!
Best wishes,

Thank You Anne. I agree, this time of year is historically a time to reflect on past accomplishments, re-evaluate hopes and dreams to create a series of actions in that direction, and test those actions to be sure they are moving you in the right direction. If not, then make a course correction.
I believe that building relationships will be the most important activity in 2010 both for personal and business reasons. Anything is possible when relationships are strong!
Lets make ’10 a “10″
Thanks Richard! And many relationships are founded and flourished via connections from social media. (Like ours!)Looking forward to working with you this year. Happy Year!
